The Best Thing That Ever Happened!

Hi Everyone,

Today I went to the Chiropractor and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I haven't felt this good in years. When I got there I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. They were very compassionate about the pain I was having. When I finished with all the ailments I was put into a massaging chair immediately. The office is located on Lake Norman so naturally the massage chairs were in position to view the lake. I was trying not to go to sleep, while waiting to get x-rays and exams of my back.
Once my x-rays came back, I was led into a room with a doctor's chair. The Doctor explained to me what he was going to do and I was both nervous and anxious to get going. For the most part, I was okay until I heard my neck snap in 24 places. That was just one side, but then he did the other side, OMG!!! another snap in 24 places at least that is what it sounded like to me. I knew I was in pain, but to hear every bone in my body from the neck down sounding like bubble wrap out of a box. I was almost flabbergasted to hear such noises.
Overall, it was a great experience much needed! When I got home, I felt so fresh I wanted to take an afternoon nap. I slept so good I didn't wake up until 7pm this evening. Talk about a nap worth needing!! If you ever get a chance, make sure you get adjusted, I actually think I grew an inch. Until next time..... Thanks for journeying with me!

My Weigh In

Hi Everybody!,

I just wanted to update my status on my weight loss. I am feeling pains in places I never knew existed. I also want to let you know that I am wearing shoes by Skechers called Shape Ups. The best thing that could ever happen to me. They make me stand straight and it has lifted a lot of pain off my lower back. The shoes are not miracle workers but they have me so hyped up to go walking now. It feel like I am standing on 5 tension floor mats. The only draw back is that if you don't pay attention to yourself you will find yourself rocking in place due to the heel of the shoe. I think it is cool. Okay, now my weigh in-- 288lbs! Yea me! I am officially out of the 90's! I am so proud of myself. Even when I went to Dr. Abaqueta he said to me "wow" I cannot believe you lost 10 pounds in one month, whatever it is you are doing, keep it up! That was a crowning moment. One thing I tried was I used Raisnets as my breakfast and M and M Peanuts for lunch. Each time I ate about 8 peices. This was to curve my craving for chocolate. Plus if you add oatmeal to it, technically it is a granola bar. No I am not justfying it, but technically, it is a granola bar.
